The Rev. Dr. Carol M. Flett
Our Rector, the Rev. Dr. Carol Flett, served as a suburban parish priest in the Diocese of Massachusetts for 20 years, and has previously served as Rector of two churches in the Boston area. She began her lay ministry as a Church School Coordinator and Youth Minister in a parish in Minnesota. She also served at the Massachusetts Council of Churches as Adjunct Associate Director for Interfaith Relations coordinating an annual series of dialogues between Christian and Jewish clergy and between Christian and Muslim leaders, as well as a series of dialogues between Liberal and Evangelical Christian clergy.
Her Doctoral Thesis was "A Study of the Effect of Anti-racism Education on the Attitudes and Behaviors of Suburban Christians". She brings enthusiams and experience with church growth, community building, inclusive and innovative worship, and adult and youth education.
Carol enjoys exercising, quilting, knitting, reading and travel. She led a parish mission trip to Honduras, has visited Israel four times, traveled to England, Ireland & Scotland, and recently had a two-week study tour of southern Spain. She currently also serves as the Interfaith Programs Coordinator at the national Cathedral College in Washington, D.C.
Carol

to move to the DC area to be near her children and grandchildren and is
happy to be at St. Bartholomew's!
