The Rev. Linda R. Calkins

The Rev. Linda R. Calkins joined us first as Priest-in-Charge and is now Rector. She has been a priest for almost 10 years, serving in a number of parishes as Assistant, Priest-in-Charge, Interim and Long-term supply. She has a background in Pastoral Counseling and theology with an MDiv from Virginia Theological Seminary. Her loves, among others, are her dog Molly (a black replica of Toto) and her home in Silver Spring. Reverend Linda says, "I now have the joy of being called to St. Bartholomew’s with a future of getting to know each other and learning in a variety of ways to provide care and support. We are people in communion no matter where we hail from, no matter where we have been and we are joined together in a blessing of serving the community of Laytonsville and beyond in love of God."
